Finishing & Furnishing

After the grey structure is complete, finishing touches bring the building to life.

  • Ceiling:

    • False ceilings, often made from gypsum board, conceal HVAC ducts, lighting, and wiring while adding to the design aesthetic.

    • POP (Plaster of Paris) designs or simple ceiling patterns can be used for decor.

  • Flooring:

    • Installation of tiles (ceramic, marble, wood, or vinyl) in a pattern or layout that enhances the interior space.

    • Considerations include durability, water resistance (bathrooms/kitchens), and aesthetic harmony with walls and ceilings.

  • Wall Finishes:

    • Application of paint, tiles, wallpaper, or paneling to walls.

    • Exterior walls may receive a weather-resistant coat or decorative stone/brick cladding for aesthetic and protective purposes.

  • Doors and Windows:

    • Installation of solid wood, steel, or aluminum doors and window frames. Double-glazed windows for insulation and soundproofing may be considered.

  • Electrical and Plumbing Fixtures:

    • Installing light fixtures, ceiling fans, chandeliers, and plumbing fixtures (faucets, showers).

    • Placement of switches and sockets as per the finalized plan.

  • Woodwork (Carpentry):

    • Custom cabinetry for kitchens, wardrobes, shelving, and other built-in furniture. Choice of materials includes MDF, plywood, or solid wood.

  • Kitchen and Bathroom Fittings:

    • Installation of kitchen countertops (granite, quartz), sinks, faucets, and appliances. Bathrooms receive vanity units, mirrors, shower enclosures, and tiles.

  • Furnishing and Décor:

    • This includes curtains, blinds, furniture placement, rugs, and soft furnishings that complement the design style.
